DESCRIPTION:We will be presenting a draft Conservation Plan and we want to be sure everyone has a chance to offer feedback\, ideas and suggestions! \nCome join the Conservation Commission and fellow residents and meet the ecologists from Moosewood Ecological LLC who have been out in the field in Cornish\, meeting with landowners and surveying our town’s incredible natural resources. \nExciting Preliminary Discoveries about Cornish \n\nNewly-documented populations of rare and uncommon plants\nSeveral sites identified as having exceptionally high conservation value\nEvidence that Cornish is bursting with biodiversity and supports highly productive farmland\nConfirmation that our town plays a vital role in the Upper Valley’s ecological resilience\n\nJoin us to complete this foundational milestone in the development of Cornish’s Town Conservation Plan. \n\nWednesday\, February 11th\, 6-8PM\nCornish Town Hall\n\nRSVP appreciated but not required: cornishconservation@cornish.nh.gov. \nTo explore previous presentations and updates\, visit CCC’s Conservation Plan weblink.
