SUMMARY:Saint-Gaudens Opening
DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us for the opening reception of the 2026 season at Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park—New Hampshire’s only national park and one of New England’s most distinctive cultural and landscape destinations. \nhttps://saint-gaudens.org/exhibitions/ \nSet on 190 acres overlooking the Connecticut River\, the Park was the home\, studio\, and creative retreat of Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1848–1907)\, widely considered one of America’s greatest sculptors. His work helped define the American Renaissance\, with iconic pieces including the Shaw Memorial in Boston and the Double Eagle gold coin. \nThe 2026 season welcomes visitors to explore the Park’s magnificent grounds\, historic buildings\, and unparalleled artworks\, alongside a full calendar of programming. \nThis year’s opening also features the new exhibition: \nLeslie Lyman | Work Beneath The Work\, part of the Park’s Picture Gallery series. \nIn addition to exhibitions\, the season includes Sculptor-in-Residence workshops\, Sunday concerts\, and a range of educational programs\, offering a rich mix of arts\, culture\, and community engagement throughout the summer and fall. \nWhy this matters \n\nA unique cultural destination in New Hampshire’s Upper Valley\, easily accessible from Boston (under 2 hours)and New York City (under 5 hours by car or rail\, less on Cape Air)\nA compelling blend of art\, history\, and outdoor experience in a setting that is both immersive and uncrowded\nA full season of programming spanning exhibitions\, music\, and hands-on arts experiences\n\nIf you’re interested in covering the Park beyond the opening\, please let us know. We have a limited number of overnight opportunities available for media and would be happy to coordinate a more in-depth visit. \nWe would be happy to arrange interviews\, provide background materials\, and support your coverage. \nPlease let me know if you’re able to attend\, and I’ll follow up with full details. \nJayme Simões \nV: 603 620 1453
