Earth Day Celebration
April 21 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Meetinghouse Green if nice, or at the Store if not.
There will be an EARTH DAY celebration on Sunday the 21st. If weather allows, we hope to meet on the Meetinghouse Green in the Flat, at noon for a plastic-free, trash free PICNIC. Hard to go plastic free, but worth a try. EV vehicles and E-Bike owners will be there to show and answer questions.
There will be a device to make non plastic seedling containers for any plants to divide and share. Also, Activities for children and a movie to keep us busy – a 37 minute MOVIE to show as needed. “The Repair Shop”about a shop that repairs instruments. If raining, we will be inside or on the porch of the Cornish General Store in Cornish Flat.
BIKE RIDE at 1pm up Stage/Penniman Road, for any bike riders.
At 2 pm, a DRUMMERS CIRCLE!. Bring any percussion instruments to share. We are mostly all beginners; help make it happen.
PLANTS. All encouraged to bring plants to share: seedlings, house plants. Try to come up with plastic free containers. Potting soil and a device to make pots will be available.
A NATURE HUNT for the children and other activities and a few surprises. Join us with your participation and future ideas.
