Hello fellow trekkers! Greetings from the operational hive of the great CHC. I bring you news, good news I think, for the adventurous among us. The Northern Rail Trail runs from Lebanon to Boscawen, New Hampshire. All-in-all it is 58.3 miles in length. That sounds like too much fun to have all at once. So, let’s just do a couple of miles. If you’re waiting for a walk that’s less strenuous on the legs, this is it; it’s practically flat.

Saturday, September 7, 10:00 AM, let’s meet up at the Northern Rail Trail Access on Riverside Drive, Lebanon, NH. I can’t figure out the exact address, but it sits between Forward’s Garage, 39 Riverside Drive and Forward’s Plumbing, 31, Riverside Drive. I’m sure you can find it.

Remember…there are no hard and fast rules for the Cornish Hiking Club:

• Walk fast or walk slow
• Wait up for others…or don’t
• Complete the whole hike or only a portion
• Talk…or don’t
• Catch up to us a little late or leave early
• Listen to your headphones or AirPods…or don’t
• Friendly pets welcome
• NOT just open to Cornish residents – we enjoy hiking with everyone!
• No formal membership and no need to RSVP!
