Cornish Hiking Club

This Saturday at 10:00am our awesome club photographer, Bruce Denis, will lead us on the 3 mile Beacon Hill Loop, which is part of the Hartford Town Forest. It is a moderately challenging hike and takes 1 ½ – 2 hours to complete. Depending on the weather, bring your spikes or snowshoes as you see fit. The easiest way to find parking is to enter Beacon Hill Loop in the AllTrails app and click on “directions” (link: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/vermont/beacon-hill-loop?sh=zfq7yx). Otherwise, take I-91 N to exit 11 (US-5 S). Keep left at the fork and turn left onto US-5 S/N Hartland Rd, then right onto Wright Reservoir Rd, where you will see parking approximately 0.2 miles up the road. Not sure of the parking capacity, but we’ll figure it out if it is small, as we always do. – Debbie
