Cornish Hiking Club

Cornish Hiking Club is giving back to the Cornish Town Forest this weekend where we have whiled away many hours and many miles on some very enjoyable hikes. This SUNDAY, April 21st at 10:00, it is the Forest’s Green Up Day, and we’ll have an opportunity to get to know the Forest and her management team better via their spring meeting as well as helping them do some trash pick up and checking out some early spring wildflowers.
Meet at Tandy Brook Road trailhead, 1/2 mile south of the intersection of Tandy Brook Road and Jackson Road. Parking can be challenging if there are too many cars, so those that are willing to carpool can meet up at the Cornish Windsor Bridge parking lot at 9:45.
We imagine they’ll have plenty of blue bags, but we’ll bring what we have, and vinyl gloves too, just in case.
