Zentangle Class

The Cornish Community Initiative is again collaborating with Certified Zentangle Teacher Elizabeth Sofish on a new series of Zentangle classes at the former Cornish Store. Here are the details for the March classes, and pre-registration is requested. We hope you can join us!

Huggins Plain & Crazy & Colored

Learn how to add color to tangles using watercolor pencils. You will create two tiles, one with Huggins, one with Crazy Huggins, both with color. These tangles are fun and easy, with a lot of opportunity for meditative “ZenFlow,” and adding the color is a special treat. We’ll also explore tips and techniques for encouraging your creative self to add uniqueness to your tiles.

Zentangle 101 Supplies Pouch – the pouch you got at our Zentangle 101 class (also available for purchase in class). You will need this for tiles, pen, charcoal pencil, and tortillon.
Three watercolor pencils of your choice, colors that you like together. Make sure they are watercolor pencils, not just colored pencils.
One very small paintbrush (I like one with a slanted tip about 1/8th inch long)
Small container for water (I use an ice cube tray so I have separate compartments)
