Zentangle 101

For adults, and children age 6 and over (accompanied by an adult).

New to Zentangle? Heard about it, maybe tried it, but want the “official training?” Join Certified Zentangle Teacher Elizabeth Sofish, for the classic “Zentangle First Tile” – the usual first class for people exploring Zentangle for the first time. Take your place in the tradition of peaceful structured drawing where no mistakes are possible. In this class, you will create one drawing using the 8 (easy) steps of The Zentangle Method®, learn basic tangling and tangling techniques, and you will have enough supplies to create 4 more drawings on your own after class. Everyone is welcome, even if you’ve already experienced this class or another Zentangle class.

Supply List: You don’t need to bring any supplies to this class. A Zentangle 101 Supplies Pouch will be provided for a $5 materials fee. Please register by emailing Elizabethsofishzentangle@gmail.com.

About the Instructor: Betsy is a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), officially authorized to teach The Zentangle Method®. She has been tangling for about 15 years, and studied with Zentangle Headquarters as well as other talented CZTs and tanglers. She tangles nearly every day, participates in a weekly ZoomTangle group of friends, and takes many classes. Betsy loves sharing The Zentangle Method® and the special tips and techniques that she use to get the results she wants. Her goals are to teach tangles and tangling techniques, encourage individual creativity and experimentation, provide opportunities for ZenFlow, and to make sure everybody has fun.
