Comet Viewing Party with Matt Lewis

Top of Dingleton Hill Road (South of 28 Fitch Drive)
Newly discovered Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) will be making its closest pass by Earth on the weekend of October 18th. The comet may be visible to the naked eye, but telescopes will be on hand for better viewing. Feel free to bring your own binoculars, telescope, or just yourselves.
This event will be led by Matt Lewis, a Cornish resident with a background in Astrophysics. He has previously led a star party and given a lecture on the 2024 Solar Eclipse sponsored by the library.
