Coffee Hour for Seniors

Coffee hours have begun! The first one was such fun! Please join us! Cornish Aging in Place (CAIP) offers two coffee hours per month.
Discussion topic for this session is Local History. What stories do we know about Cornish, Plainfield, and Meriden history? Let’s learn from each other by sharing accounts we’ve heard from family, friends, and others. New-comers and long-time residents are all welcome.
CAIP volunteers will set up coffee and tea for attendees.
Our goal is to provide our seniors with social time, stimulating conversation, and helpful information related to aging. Seniors living in Cornish, as well as those in Plainfield and Meriden, are warmly invited to attend.
CAIP will provide a sign-up “Buddy Book” at each coffee hour session. Seniors can register to find a buddy for gardening at home, walking, going out for dinner, going to a movie, and more.

Through October, CAIP will offer coffee hours on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am, and the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2:00 pm.
