Cornish Conservation Plan

As part of the Cornish Conservation Plan project, ecologists from Moosewood Ecological LLC have been out in the field, meeting with landowners and surveying our town’s incredible natural resources. Their findings are nothing short of inspiring:

Exciting Discoveries

  • Newly documented populations of rare and uncommon plants
  • Several sites identified as having exceptionally high conservation value
  • Evidence that Cornish is bursting with biodiversity and supports highly productive farmland
  • Confirmation that our town plays a vital role in the Upper Valley’s ecological resilience
