Cornish Hiking Club

Because we’ll be in the tail of Hurricane Debby this weekend, I’m thinking that keeping things closer to home might be smart. And because we’ll be celebrating the 74th Annual Cornish Fair next weekend, I’m thinking that celebrating all things Cornish might be fun!

And, full disclosure: I stole this idea from The Cornish Connection Facebook page – but, in my defense, it is a steal-worthy idea! No, it’s not a hike, per-se, but it’s something new, something we haven’t tried before, so who’s up for an experiment?

Cornish is home to seven Valley Quests, and several are quite close to the General Store – so let’s start there. We’ll see how many intrepid explorers are willing to brave the rain (I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that it’s gone by Saturday morning) with the Cornish Flat Village Quest, and if there’s enough time and interest, we can carpool over to the Blow Me Down Mill Quest, and if there’s still enough time and interest, we can see which of the other five quests appeal to us.
