Cornish Hiking Club

Let’s re-trace our steps through the Cornish Town Forest, as I AM DETERMINED TO FIND THAT DANG LOOKOUT TOWER! (So if anyone actually KNOWS how to get to it, your presence would be especially welcome!) And BONUS: it looks like the weather may just end up cooperating, as the timing and amount of rain seems to be careening away from our hiking time of 10:00 – FINGERS CROSSED! But just in case there is enough rain to make back roads challenging to navigate, let’s plan on meeting at the Cornish-Windsor Bridge parking lot at 10:00 and carpooling the 5 minutes to the parking off of Paddy Hollow Road (the far side of Root Hill Road) as per the directions on All Trails: https://www.alltrails.com/…/new…/cornish-town-forest Of course, if you’ve got other demands on your time and just want to meet us there – we found back in October that there is plenty of parking for 8+ cars if you go far enough in on the road to reach the trailhead, although probably only in a 4-wheel drive vehicle with plenty of ground clearance.
