Cornish’s Conservation Plan

We will be presenting a draft Conservation Plan and we want to be sure everyone has a chance to offer feedback, ideas and suggestions!

Come join the Conservation Commission and fellow residents and meet the ecologists from Moosewood Ecological LLC who have been out in the field in Cornish, meeting with landowners and surveying our town’s incredible natural resources.

Exciting Preliminary Discoveries about Cornish

• Newly-documented populations of rare and uncommon plants
• Several sites identified as having exceptionally high conservation value
• Evidence that Cornish is bursting with biodiversity and supports highly productive farmland
• Confirmation that our town plays a vital role in the Upper Valley’s ecological resilience
