Blow-Me-Down Trail at St. Gaudens

It’s going to be another cold one this weekend – maybe not as windy as it is as I’m writing this, so hopefully it won’t feel so cold – but let’s keep things close to home and short – hypothermia is not on my 2025 Bucket List (or any other year, for that matter)!
Let’s hike the Blow-Me-Down Trail at St. Gaudens – but let’s start at the Mill right there on 12-A – I’m sure I can find the trail from the parking lot (stop laughing! I know who you are!) that way we can keep to the flat part of the trail – avoid the steeper and potentially icy portions – and do it as an out-and-back – avoid the aforementioned hypothermia – and if it turns out to be not too cold and people want to, we could do the whole loop.
We’ll meet at the Mill parking lot off of 12-A at 10:00, but if you’re not entirely sure where that is, I’ll meet you at the Cornish-Windsor Bridge parking lot at 9:50.
