Living with the Beavers

June 7 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The CORNISH CONSERVATION COMMISSION and the CREA COMMITTEE invite everyone to attend an educational nature program presented by Skip Lisle on beavers, “LIVING WITH THE BEAVERS”

Skip Lisle, M.Sc., president of Beaver Deceivers LLC, is a widely-recognized wildlife management specialist with a focused interest in beavers – in keeping beavers alive in important wetland environments through non-lethal methods and mitigating their behaviors that lead to flooding and the destruction of community infrastructure like culverts and bridges. To this end, he has designed and installed his trademark “beaver deceivers” at home and internationally.

Skip will discuss beaver activity in general, share suggestions on beaver management at CREA and answer questions on how to protect the animals, the wetlands they inhabit, as well as the adjacent infrastructures (roads, culverts and bridges) and abutters’ properties.

…AND Here is some info to help get you prepared Link to beaver info at UNH.
