Why are NH Property Taxes so High?

Presentation by Executive Councilor, Karen Liot-Hill from 6:45 – 8pm.

Councilor Karen Liot Hill represents 81 cities and towns in New Hampshire’s Executive Council District 2. Drawing from her 20 years as a former City Councilor, she will discuss the burden of local property taxes and how decisions in Concord affect us at the local level. The Executive Council exercises oversight of state government, including voting on all state spending over $10,000, giving Karen a valuable perspective. Why are NH Property Taxes so High

Karen Liot-Hill will be joined by two former Plainfield moderators, Mr. Taylor and Mr. Franklin, who will discuss the petitioned warrant articles to be voted on March 14 at the Plainfield Town Meeting. The articles ask for significant changes to Plainfield’s town governance.
